With a degree in architecture from McGill University (1987) and pertinent experience in the area of resort architecture, Nathalie Doyon created her own firm, Nathalie Doyon architecte, in 1995. Specializing in the construction and renovation of wooden buildings, particularly in the Laurentians, Nathalie Doyon architecte has also built up extensive expertise in the specialized field of heavy-timber construction (log and post-and-beam structures).

Characterized by a keen respect for architectural traditions and close attention to detail, Nathalie Doyon’s architectural approach is inspired by the Arts and Crafts style. The focus is on simple, articulated and functional volumes, understated, natural colours and textures, and special consideration for the relationship between buildings and their natural surroundings.

The services offered by Nathalie Doyon architecte range all the way from global project design, including interior design, to worksite supervision.
